Com thank you for stopping by and checking this out I just talked to you briefly of course everything we talked about it in the context of the gym God you in the mission when you come to think about it we always in the gym as folks who've been saved by God through Jesus Christ our environment is the gym the context of God you in the mission so if you think about that you're always in the environment where you to be exercising or doing something as far as that mission of making disciples of Christ fit have you thought about how many times you see in scripture especially in the letters from Paul have you thought about how many times you writes about some kind of physical activity and we talked about the letters of Paul but basically in the New Testament you can see things like one of the famous quotes we walk by some activity walk Walking run the race you know it was something good good ones that we specially like to go to when we talked about physical activity and physical training work out your salvation we pull them out of context and we look at what it actually said but the fact remains that there's a lot of physical activity that Paul draws from and you talked about you know training yourself train yourself to be Godly of course the physical training is of some benefit but you know that Godly training you know that's what we're all about however keep thinking about the fact that he uses some kind of athletic or some type of physical activity in order to bring about what it is that we need to focus on how we need to do things as far as being Ministers of the Gospel of Jesus Christ do you find yourself doing that you find yourself practicing that running that walking that training whatever it is you find yourself actually exercising in the gym context I mean you consciously mean not not passively going to go along with something really just sending out a plan to do just that have you asked yourself how how active you are you know spiritually how active you are mentally how active you are and all these aspects of course physically as well in terms of the whole you as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ being becoming more effective in reaching people for Christ teaching people or maturing people in Christ and they're mobilizing people through Christ how effective are you in there and are you looking at your activity towards that that's what I want to just put out there for you today hey leave your questions your comments and suggestions share with us love to hear from you Grace and peace until next time fam

You are Always in The GYM...Are You FIT?

To be fit is to be of a suitable quality, standard, or type to meet the required purpose. It is not enough to say that you are fit. It is not enough to appear to be fit.

Fitness requires Faithful action.
Fitness requires Intentional action.
Fitness requires that you remain Teachable.

Are you fit?

This is a question I continue to ask myself. I never really feel like I am fit to be a minister for Christ, but I continue to trust that He is making me what He wants me to be. Nevertheless, I use this question to examine myself periodically going to God and asking Him if I am fit for His purpose

Questions To Help You Think FIT

There are no questions that I'm asking you that I haven't asked myself. And there are no questions that I'm asking you to bring forth any condemnation. I just want to ask some questions to get us thinking about how can we better optimize our time and our abilities here on earth in order to do our very best to carry this gospel of Jesus Christ to the people in the world in this day and time.

Thank you for stopping by, again.

Grace and Peace!

What Does It Mean To Be Fit? with Coach T (Taurus James) at  Minister Fitness, Kingdom Fitness Academy

Thought Questions

1. Which points did you find most impactful? Why?

2. What did the Lord reveal to you through this message? (Did you gain a specific insight into your life or ministry? What challenged you? Were you convicted of sin?)

3. How were you encouraged through this message? How can you use what you've learned to encourage someone else—in your personal life, at work, or at church—and equip them as a disciple of Christ?

4. How, practically, can you implement what you heard from this message in your life and/or ministry today? What will you do differently this week because of what you've just heard?

5. If you're struggling with your physical health, take the initial step of going to the doctor for a check up. Find a member of your church who loves working out and partner up with them—go on a run, bike ride, or weight train together. Allow exercise to be a method of discipleship.
